2. Exude passion toward Wikipedia[edit]

I think this could use some revising. It's one thing to be passionate and to communicate that passion, and it's another to exude it. I think this point (coupled with the viral metaphor of "infecting" others) may tend too closely toward Wikipedia evangelism, whereas this point could easily be focused on sharing and communicating passion. In fact, one may even construct a stronger rhetorical stance as a campus ambassador when one can offer criticisms of Wikipedia--ones that underscore the need for improvement, etc. I don't think this "criticism" idea is necessarily excluded by point #2, but it seems to me a fringe interpretation which could be made more explicit.

  • One alternative: 2. Share your passion and the passions of others toward Wikipedia.
  • Another: 2. Express your passion and share the passions of others toward Wikipedia.
