Deutsch: Die digitale Preisverleihung war eine Premiere für den Dachverband: Wikimedia-Aktive sowie Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare konnten virtuell dabei sein, als Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. am 18. November 2020 mit der Karl-Preusker-Medaille ausgezeichnet wurde. Die Veranstaltung wurde im Livestream von der UB Rostock übertragen.
Antje Theise, die Direktorin der Universitätsbibliothek, hielt die Laudatio im historischen Konzilzimmer der Universität Rostock. Bibliothek und Information Deutschland würdigt mit der Auszeichnung die jahrzehntelange Partnerschaft, die Bibliotheken und Wikimedia seit Bestehen des gemeinnützigen Vereins 2004 verbindet. |
