Description
  • Prentenboek met bladen met daarop handgekleurde litho's en rijmende tekst, over Pierrot die opgroeit, kattenkwaad uithaalt en niets leert op school. Hij gaat werken voor Heer Pantalon, ontmoet kameraad Arlequin en ook Colombine verschijnt ten tonele, waarna nog vele avonturen volgen. Vergeleken met een andere uitgave valt op dat de tekeningen naar hetzelfde ontwerp zijn gemaakt, maar opnieuw op steen zijn gezet. Een opvallend verschil is zichtbaar op de eerste plaat van dit exemplaar, waarop boeren als apen zijn afgebeeld.
