Summary

Description
English: Supplementary Movie 1 Timelapse video recording of the pH distribution around a calcifying foraminiferal specimen. The HPTS-derived pH distributions are overlaid by differential interference contrast microscopic images taken during the incubation with HPTS. Color bar shows calibrated pH scale (right column) and the scale bar indicates 100μm. The time-lapse videos are taken automatically every two minutes for six hours by Zeiss Axio observer Z1 system. Image processing was performed using MATLAB (Math works) and video editing with Adobe Premiere (Adobe Inc.).
