English: Scientific illustration of mammal Santamartamys, rodent rarely sighted. Their habitat lies in the nature reserve located in the Sierra de Santa María, Bogotá (Colombia). Appears to be comfortable at altitudes of 1000 to 2300 meters with a moist environment and moderate temperatures.

Illustration made with ocher stain for background, colored pencils and digital retouching. With the advice of Alistair Ian Spearing Ortiz scientific translator.

Su hábitat reside en la reserva natural ubicada en sierra de Santa María, Bogotá (Colombia). Parece encontrarse cómodo en altitudes de entre 1000 y 2300 metros con un ambiente húmedo y temperaturas moderadas.

Ilustración realizada con mancha ocre para el fondo, lápices de colores y retoque digital. Con el asesoramiento de Alistair Ian Spearing Ortiz, traductor científico.
