This VRTS permission letter was created for the Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte content donation with assistance from Peter Weis. The Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte states in this letter their releasing of images under two licenses:

Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte hereby asserts that it is the creator or sole owner of the exclusive copyright of the collection of images being donated. Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte is donating two collections of images to Wikimedia Commons, both which fall into two different licenses.
One collection is agreed to be published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Germany. All Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte images provided via this collection, whether used in print, electronic, or online format, must be attributed as follows: "Stiftung historische Museen Hamburg - Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte". This attribution should also include credit to the photographer if this information is available.
Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte acknowledges that anyone may use these works in a commercial product, and may also modify it according to their needs, as long as they abide by the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Germany license and any other applicable laws. Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte is aware that it retains the copyright to these works, and retains the right to be attributed in accordance with the license chosen. It is also aware that any modifications others make to these images will not be attributed to the museum.
Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte is aware that the free license only concerns copyright, and reserves the option to take action against anyone who uses this work in a libelous way, or in violation of personality rights, trademark restrictions, etc.
The second collection will be dedicated for use in the Public Domain. Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte understands that these images will be free for anyone to use without copyright restriction.
Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte is aware that the Public Domain reserves the option to take action against anyone who uses this work in a libelous way, or in violation of personality rights, trademark restrictions, etc.
Based on this partnership, it has been agreed upon that Wikimedians will facilitate the uploading of this donation onto Wikimedia Commons. Necessary corrections, statistics, and metadata modifications will also be made by Wikimedians. Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte acknowledges that any liabilities from releasing these images lie with Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte , not with the Wikimedians participating.
Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte acknowledges that it cannot withdraw these photographs at a later time, under this agreement, and that the works may or may not be kept permanently on the project or Wikimedia as a whole.
