BHL blog on Tiago Lubiana’s contributions as Wikimedian in Residence
Tiago Lubiana, the BHL Wikimedian in Residence, published a farewell BHL blog giving a summary of some of his contributions during his time as BHL’s Wikimedian in Residence. This blog covers his work creating a comprehensive BHL Meta-Wiki portal, his development of tools such as BHL Arena, a fun interactive game using BHL images, the Wikimedia Commons Impact Metrics dashboard for BHL as well as the BHL Image Explorer, which empowers the discovery and reuse of BHL images on Wikipedia. Tiago collaborated in developing a structured metadata model for BHL images in Wikimedia Commons as well as creating documentation giving detailed workflows for using tools like Open Refine to add structured data to BHL images in that platform. Siobhan Leachman, Chair of the BHL-Wiki working group, on behalf of the group and herself would like to express her gratitude for all that Tiago has contributed and thank Tiago for all his efforts.
