First call of Science Month at Wikipedia in the Czech Republic wrapped-up
Wikimedia CR edit-a-thon participants uploaded photos of Czech scientists
As our first edition of Science Month on Wikipedia got its final round, we have also managed to extend the imagery of Czech scientists. Within the partnership of Czech Academy of Sciences using photos published under Creative Commons licence. Starting this cooperation, we hope that there will be more photos coming in next edition in 2026. See all the 2025 photos here.

Romanian Army in the fight for the liberation of Czechoslovakia

Thanks to the cooperation with the Embassy of Romania in the Czech Republic and several Moravian museums (Muzeum regionu Valašsko, Městské muzeum Valašské Klobouky, Muzeum Bojkovska) a set of several dozen unique photographs has been obtained, which illustrate the role of the Romanian army to the liberation of Czechoslovakia in 1945. All uploaded photos can be found here. If you would like to participate in the project, please add file descriptions in your language and place photos in the appropriate articles. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
