Czech Television and Czech Radio to become partners od WMCZ projects
Czech Television and Czech Radio are going through substantial discussion regarding their status as public service media and financial support. Partnership with Wikimedia Czech Republic opened at the end of 2024 and flourishing in 2025 help them to advocate their crucial role. Project extinguished bells, which evolved from Czech Radio research, is bringing 90 exclusive sounds of church bells vanished during WWII available through Wikimedia Commons. This project is a new start for our future cooperation, which opens up topic, such as selected shows available under CC licences or photos of personalities related to history and current positions in Czech Radio. Czech Television becomes partner for even more crucial partnership, which will be discussed as part of Wiki Loves Broadcast initiative during spring 2025.
