Hello – I’m Cheryl Chidester, the curator and conservator of the Argus Museum, which houses products manufactured by the Argus Camera Company and collections connected to the Argus story. I possess a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Science degree with a concentration in materials preservation. I am a member of the Argus Collectors Group, the Michigan Photographic Historical Society, and several museum and preservation-related organizations. Additionally, I work as an Architectural Historian/Preservation Planner and meet the NPS 36 CFR professional criteria set out in the Secretary of Interior’s Qualification Standards.
