Hi Rock Drum, looks like a great start!
It looks like you are thinking about education in general for this presentation. I would suggest thinking about the target audience carefully; I think there is, at minimum, a great difference between the way Wikipedia can and should be used in, say, a secondary school vs. college level. Also probably major differences between undergraduate and graduate level.
I wonder if it might make more sense to make two separate presentations for secondary and higher ed? -Pete (talk) 19:28, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- This was more aimed at high schools than universities or colleges. -Rock drum (talk · contribs) 19:49, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- OK, cool. I think the early mention of the Ambassador program and its work at the university level threw me off. Maybe that's something that can be clarified by the presentation notes.
- More generally -- it might be helpful to have a paragraph about the purpose of the presentation, and its intended uses and audiences, at the top of the document; that way people like me will be better able to work toward the same goal as you, it might head off misunderstandings about the desired outcome. -Pete (talk) 20:31, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
