Hi Rock Drum, looks like a great start!

It looks like you are thinking about education in general for this presentation. I would suggest thinking about the target audience carefully; I think there is, at minimum, a great difference between the way Wikipedia can and should be used in, say, a secondary school vs. college level. Also probably major differences between undergraduate and graduate level.

I wonder if it might make more sense to make two separate presentations for secondary and higher ed? -Pete (talk) 19:28, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

This was more aimed at high schools than universities or colleges. -Rock drum (talk · contribs) 19:49, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
OK, cool. I think the early mention of the Ambassador program and its work at the university level threw me off. Maybe that's something that can be clarified by the presentation notes.
More generally -- it might be helpful to have a paragraph about the purpose of the presentation, and its intended uses and audiences, at the top of the document; that way people like me will be better able to work toward the same goal as you, it might head off misunderstandings about the desired outcome. -Pete (talk) 20:31, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
