Join us! The Wikipedia Education Program is always looking for educators and volunteers to help us shape the future of Wikipedia in education. The easiest way to express your interest in participating is to fill out this form. If you're an educator looking to learn more about how to incorporate Wikipedia editing in your class, check out the Education Portal, where you'll find case studies, a sample syllabus, sample assignments and other materials, and more. We're eager to work with professors from many countries in many disciplines, with students writing on many language versions of Wikipedia. You don't need to have a background in Wikipedia editing, but you do need to be committed to enhancing your students' learning experience by giving them a broad audience for their work through Wikipedia! If you're interested in becoming a Wikipedia Ambassador, you'll be able to help students learn how to edit Wikipedia, either in class (a Campus Ambassador) or virtually (an Online Ambassador). You can learn more by visiting the Ambassadors page. We're eager to have volunteers with all levels of knowledge about Wikipedia, from newcomers to experts. The most important qualification is enthusiasm about sharing free knowledge and a desire to help students who are editing for the first time! Interested in joining in other ways? Just let us know on this form. If you just have a question/comment and want to contact someone directly about it, please email us at education |
