Documentation of the conference GLAM-Wiki: Finding Common Ground
In August 2009, Liam Wyatt organized a conference that opened discussions between the cultural sector (specifically: art galleries; libraries; archives and museums – GLAM) and the Wikimedia community. A documentation of the two-day event in Canberra is now available at GLAM-Wiki: Finding Common Ground.
Documentation of the cooperation between Wikimedia and the German Federal Archives
At the recent Wikimedia meeting in Paris (November 6–8, 2009), Mathias Schindler documented the cooperation between Wikimedia Germany and the German Federal Archives. The text is intended for archivists, librarians and curators of cultural heritage, but also interesting for all chapters and volunteers being engaged in building partnerships with cultural institutions. Currently, it is available in German and in English (translation ongoing).

About Outreach
Outreach at Wikimedia means encouraging and enabling new users to participate in the creation of free knowledge. This is where we are building the tools to reach out to people who have never edited Wikipedia before. This is where we teach each other to develop the next generation of Wikipedians.
