Español: Tropa de carretas provincianas, en plena pampa, antes de llegar a la ciudad de Santa Fe. Provenían de Mendoza trayendo vino, masas, tabletas, quesadillas, géneros, frazadas, etc. y volvían a su destino, con harina, trigo, yerba, tabaco, etc. Acampaban en la antigua Plaza de las Carretas, o en la antigua Plaza a dos cuadras al oeste de la Aduana Vieja. 1868.
