History of the Paralympic Movement in Australia

This is the cross-wiki organisation home for the History of the Paralympic Movement in Australia project (HoPAu). It is a GLAM project organised between the Australian Paralympic Committee, the National Sport Information Centre and Wikimedia Australia.

The Australian Paralympic Committee (APC), has established the Paralympic History Project to collect, manage and preserve the history of the Paralympic movement in Australia. The project is managed by Tony Naar, General Manager Knowledge Services. Following a competitive tender process, the APC has contracted the University of Queensland to produce an online and hardcopy written history through Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikibooks. Sport historian Murray Phillips is working with Wikimedia Australia consultants to deliver the history. For more information on this project, please see the tabs above, review the HoPAu, and/or join the email list (links on the right).
