Hallo! I am Kathrin - a German native living in the beautiful city of San Francisco. I use Wikipedia since several years but not until I moved to California I "discovered" Wikipedia more deeply and got engaged in the Best practices in public outreach project.

In Germany I studied Political Science and after that I worked as a program manager for the largest civic education agency in Europe, the Federal Agency for Civic Education. I developed teaching materials and organized youth participation projects. I am also interested in International Development and International Education and was fortunate to gain some experiences in Uganda.
