| Description |
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
In the autumn, hundreds of water birds are caught during their migration and then ringed in the duck decoy 'Bakkerswaal' along the Lek near Lekkerkerk. These are mostly wigeons and teals, who are on their way to Africa. SHOTS: ducks in a pond; scale model of a duck decoy; a decoy-man peers at the ducks through a hole in the reed screen, lures them with food and drives them into a net; close up of the ringing of a duck.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
In eendenkooi 'Bakkerswaal' aan de Lek bij Lekkerkerk worden in het najaar honderden watervogels tijdens hun trektocht gevangen en daarna geringd. Het betreft vooral smienten en talingen, die op weg zijn naar Afrika. SHOTS: eenden in een plas; schaalmodel van een eendenkooi; een kooiker bespiedt eenden door een gat in een rietscherm, lokt ze met voedsel en jaagt ze in een vangnet; cu ringen eend. |
