A wandering flute player has a beneficient influence on a number of characters through the pure tones of his music as he passes by. He reconciles lovers, prevents a peevish young girl from throwing away a crucifix, and stops a pair of adulterous lovers from murdering the woman's husband.

Melodrama waarin een fluitspeler karakters beïnvloedt met zijn muziek en onder andere twee oud-geliefden weer bijeen brengt. Fragment: Twee oude geliefden zijn verbitterd en maken alleen nog ruzie. Wanneer de vrouw van het stel een andere man ontmoet, gaat zij bijna op zijn avances in, maar een fluitspeler beïnvloedt het stel met zijn muziek en ze komen weer bij elkaar.
