About me
[edit]I am a masters level philosophy student in Paris-Sorbonne and University of Tartu, specializing in Ancient Greek philosophy and phenomenology. I am happily married and have three children. I enjoy literature, music and good company.
Professionally I have been engaged in diverse activities, mostly in the sector of non-profit organizations and I have a vast experience of project writing in this field. Most remarkably I have had various roles in Estonian Guide and Assistant Dog Foundation, from voluntary puppy raiser to guide dog trainer and from board assistant to bookkeeper. I have also gained invaluable experience of voluntary work in Estonia and in France.
I am an ardent supporter of free culture and free knowledge, as well as an inactive user of Estonian Wikipedia since November 2009.
I joined Wikimedia movement in October 2013 when I was hired as a project writer of meta:Wikimedia Eesti. In December 2013 I also started working as the coordinator of the education project of the organization. After the restructuring of the staff of Wikimedia Eesti in Spring 2014 I became the executive director of the chapter on the 1st of July 2014. It is possible to acquaint oneself with the relevant vision and scope document on meta.

My job functions include:
[edit]- Creation of agendas, budgets, projects/programs and reports of Wikimedia Eesti in collaboration with the board.
- Supporting the execution of projects, resp. managing project team, project schedule and project budget, finding the volunteers.
- Work on strategy of the organization.
- International communication and communication with partners and local community.
