About me

Hello! My name is Mohammad Hijjawi, a Data Scientist and Full-Stack AI Engineer currently based in the United Kingdom.

I specialise in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI, with a strong focus on building real-world, scalable AI solutions. I hold a Master's degree in Data Science with High Distinction from the University of Birmingham.

In addition to my technical work, I actively mentor and coach learners in data and AI through global programmes and platforms.

My work

I have over 5 years of experience working across data science, AI consulting, and education. My work focuses on applying machine learning and NLP techniques to solve real-world challenges, build intelligent systems, and support data-driven decision-making.

Alongside my technical work, I collaborate with organisations and platforms to deliver mentoring, coaching, and training in data science, AI, and analytics.

I am also an active Wikimedian since 2012, contributing to the development of open knowledge through article creation, community leadership, and educational programmes across the MENA region.
