About me
Hola! Hi! Coucou ! I'm Patricia, a social communicator, cultural heritage specialist, and Open Culture enthusiast based in Santiago. I'm very social and I like to connect with new people, especially to promote social impact projects. History, art, architecture, and current political affairs are my main topics of contribution to Wikipedia. I also work around Wikimedia Commons, where I like to add historical pictures.
My work
I have worked for Wikimedia Chile since 2018, when I started as the chapter's first staff member. I'm currently its Executive Director, where I lead an 8-person team. My main focus remains on connecting with local and international partners, serving as the liaison with WMF and other movement parts and entities, leading fundraising efforts, and overseeing the general management of the annual program. I'm also part of the Open Culture global network.
