About me

I am a Human Rights, Tech, and Policy fellow at Wikimedia Foundation. I graduated with a Masters in Law (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School in May 2022. As a lawyer and researcher, I have built a career fighting and advocating for freedom of expression. I have conducted extensive research for the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, Global Voices, Global Freedom of Expression at Columbia University, and the Foundation for Press Freedom. In the Legal field, I have clerked at the Constitutional Court of Colombia and Colombia’s Transitional Justice Tribunal, and have been an assistant professor in Public International Law at the University of Los Andes in Colombia.

I am interested in studying how the law should treat the struggles for collective memory and the efforts of social movements to bring the issue of collective remembering into the digital realm.

My work

I work at the intersection of the legal and global advocacy teams at WMF, focusing on human rights, technology, and policy issues. In particular, I advise both teams on topics such as human rights due diligence, public policy on disinformation, and privacy laws in different jurisdictions.
