Destined to live out my days roaming the New York State public education system, I received my BA in English and Philosophy at SUNY Geneseo before recently joining the PhD Program in English at the CUNY Graduate Center (GC) — where I research the intersection of digital humanities, educational technology, and critical pedagogy, often in the context of composition studies. I also serve as a Graduate Teaching Fellow in the first-year writing program at Baruch College, where I serve as the instructor of record for introductory writing courses. Currently, I'm in the process of designing an interactive toolkit and workspace for educators interested in transforming Discord servers into networked learning spaces and online communities of practice.
