Week 3: Selecting Articles
Marguerite sets up her user account and registers on the course page, then she dives right in practicing her editing skills in her sandbox and begins to look at articles for improvement which she’ll post on the Articles talk page. The Campus Ambassador told the class that finding the right balance between lack of prior good Wikipedia coverage and available literature from which to build new Wikipedia coverage can be tricky and may take some time.
She feels supported by both her instructor and the Campus Ambassador who clearly explained to her class last week how to find help should they run into trouble on Wikipedia (e.g. IRC).
