Week 2: Getting Started
Professor Carlton also realizes it’s important to get his students editing Wikipedia right away so they become familiar with the MediaWiki markup language. After considering his options of teaching this himself, having a trained Wikipedia's Campus Ambassadors teach it, or contacting the teaching and technology center on campus to ask for their assistance, he opts to utilize the skills of the Campus Ambassador.
The Campus Ambassador gives an introduction to:
- Editing Basics
- Creating a Wikipedia Article
- Finding items for new a article / revision
