  • Wikipedia Education program at Christ university conducted by Centre for internet and society has helped me a lot in knowing more about wikipedia. It also helped me to know more about our native language articles and even typing in our language.I learned a lot about how to write an article with all requirements to wikipedia. I thank the education program for making us learn something new and mainly user:Ananth subray, who gave us a constant support and thought us how to write an article and edit wikipedia articles to improve them.--Chaithra Pillareddy (talk) 14:17, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • WEP at Christ University conducted by Centre for internet and society not only helped me learn editing on Wikipedia in my native language but also connected me to some like minded people who share the idea of making knowledge available free of cost as well the importance to develop the responsibility each one of holds towards our culture, tradition and language. This program helped first year students to start their Wikipedia experience by developing stub articles and second year continued to work on articles related to language, literature and culture. The open elective course provided an extra exposure to other sister projects and helped students understand how Wikipedia. It is a really interesting to know how Wikipedia makes a student from consumer of knowledge to producers to knowledge. shamzzee (✉✉)
  • Wikipedia Education program at Christ university conducted by Centre for internet and society has helped us in developing our skills in Wikipedia in our regional language. We could create, edit articles on our own. I thank the department of languages for bringing for giving us an opportunity to learn about Wikipedia. I thank the department of language for giving us an opportunity to learn about Wikipedia, Mainly user:Ananth subray and user:shamzzee, who gave us a constant support, as well as our teacher Sebastian sir for guiding us, I am thanking you.
  • Wikipedia Education program at Christ university conducted by Centre for internet and society has improved my language skills in kannada (kannada is the language which i worked on) . Reading in kannada has become fun and interesting after the experience of editing many articles in kannada. The first time experience of working for wikipedia family was a memorable one.The feautures of wikipedia caught our attention .   • As a part of Wikipedia Education Program at Christ University I have learnt a lot more about the technical aspects of wikipedia other than just editing the contents of pages .It has helped me to enhance my knowledge in different fields other than just core subjects which are part of syllabus.This enhancement of my knowledge enables me to share the facts and create awareness with regards to certain aspects of world which are left untouched by majority.After learning all the technicalities of wikipedia i have realized that just to share a small piece of information needs alot of hardwork and effort put by many of those who are left unrecognised and whose hard works are desparaged.   • Christ University offering Wikipedia Education Program for undergraduate students as part of their academics, has really made me feel happy to work with. As it involves gathering the true information and then putting it in the right order and sharing it with others, i have learnt a lot from this platform. it has also helped me to improve my typing skills, communication skills and knowing more about the words we often use while creating an article.
