Hi Anjana, Good work on the article on caste system in India. You have enlightened us regarding the main castes that are prevailing in India. But your article mostly deals with past and the history of caste system in India. It would be great if you could give us some examples of popular personalities who belonged to the various castes like Vaishya's, Brahmin's, Shudra's etc.. And also more information regarding the ways in which the untouchables were treated before and soon after independence. Since times have changed now a days, you can also mention the present condition of the caste system in India along with the ways in which the plight of Dalit's have improved today. Nice Pictures. You can explain the steps taken by the government to enhance the living conditions of lower caste people and the benefits available to them. Thank you. All the Best.

You have given a consise and brief understanding on the caste system of India, however, I feel that there is so much more to this topic and I hope that you continue to expand this article. Maybe you could have given some problems faced by people because of the caste system and ended it with how caste is constructed and its implications in the present day too? Also, it would have been more complete had you added further links and pictures as that would have helped me in understanding the caste system better and I would know where I go should I want more information.
All in all, It was a very good effort. Keep up the good work. Hope I can see you writing many more articles in the future!
