Incorrect invalidation for translated pages[edit]

Hi! This way is incorrect. Please don't change numberings of translation items. New items will be inserted without numbering; after marking changes for translation, engine adds a new number to the new element (the numbers do not need to be arranged in order).--Kaganer (talk) 21:06, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

PS: This page was fixed, all invalidated translations was improved.--Kaganer (talk) 22:22, 16 September 2017 (UTC)

Disruptive moves[edit]

This is a wiki, you're encouraged to discuss before making wide-ranging changes. It helps save everyone's time. --Nemo 16:50, 12 December 2017 (UTC)

@Nemo bis: I recognize that this is a wiki, but as we have discussed before: the archived case studies page does not represent what is going on in the community in terms of case studies or best practices -- whereas the Model projects does. Moreover, as you can see in the Case studies page that we have been developing, we have a best practice and model for collecting these case studies. Moreover, with the Archived version of the page, we still maintain the history of that page in one place. In this version of moving, I addressed your previous concern about maintaining the page history; however having multiple points of entry for the same kinds information only confuses and complicates. Discussing how to do another version of the page that serves more needs, or how to building a landing page for different types of institutions makes sense, as I acknowledged last time we talked. Wikipedian in residence project[edit]

I want to thank you for your document on Wikipedians in residence. I am currently preparing a Grant project to subsidize two to three Wikipedians living in Côte d'Ivoire. Given the big source gap to fill, we find that three people can more or less do the trick. I learned a lot from your document. Best regards --Modjou (talk) 20:00, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

@Modjou: I am glad that you are finding it useful! Thank you for the note! Astinson (WMF) (talk) 22:46, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
