Page layout

Can you please not change the page layout? I've moved all the pictures back as it was designed to provide a clear centre space and have balance. It also kept the important right sidebar information near the top of the page, instead of below a picture. If there is some pressing need to change the page layout, please explain why first. --LauraHale (talk) 07:03, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Sorry to cause you stress, conveyed so clearly in your message here. I would have thought, that my being on the project and modifying the layout some, was suggestion enough that it needed improvement. When we met to discuss your initiating this space, you seemed to make it clear that editing, including layout, was welcome.

I've replaced the pictures with portrait oriented images, so as to afford more detail in the image at 200px. I put it to the right, with a frame, for balance, and to afford the body text more room, and slightly more usability for mobile - or at least presenting the text as priority. I thought the persistent navigation items were not necessary at the top.

I'm not sure now, where my input is welcome, and where it is not. I think I will ignore your instruction to propose and explain changes before editing, as I'm sure you do not intend to moderate and control this space to your own brief. Leighblackall (talk) 07:39, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

You know, thinking more about it, there's no need to leave a message to me about this Laura. All my edits are proposals for improvements only. If you revert or adapt them back to something like the original, I'll take that as a negotiation by edit. I rarely, if ever enter into editing wars. Recent removal of rights

Hello. I just wanted to leave a formal note as a follow-up to an e-mail that you might received many hours ago about the removal of your rights from this site. Per a admittedly very brief discussion on the Village pump, multiple users supported cleaning up the list, both on and off the page. My goal of doing this was to get a better count of who was an active administrator, as well as purge the list in a move that is in line with other WMF wikis. However, should you still wish to be an administrator on Outreach, please leave me a message on my talk page, and I will promptly restore your rights as soon as I see the message.
