Anyone interested in applying to be a bureaucrat on this site should be familiar with other Wikimedia sites and have a substantial edit history before seeking the right. Currently, there is no need for extra bureaucrats due to the small amount of workload that occurs on the site. However, any user can request the right (with the same requirements) to local bureaucrats at the requests for permissions page, provided that they would like to help and meet the above requirements.
