Wiki Grabación (video)[edit]

Nine students from the digital communication and digital art/animation were involved in this project, led by Thelmadatter

Five persons were interviews related to five of Mexico's muralists related to the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana and added to the relevant articles in English and Spanish. These included 3 former students/assistants to Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, a noted art historian and the daughter of muralist Fanny Rabel, who is noted in her own right as an actress. All expressed gratitude for the work we were doing and several noted the enthusiasm of the students. No subtitles yet for the interviews but will be done in the coming month or two.

24 students from the digital music recording department were involved in this project, led by Lourdes Epstein and department director Alejandro Ramos

Wiki Expedición (Colonia Roma and Colonia Condesa)[edit]

35 students were involved in this project, led by Nutriesilla

According to the new Education Dashboard [1]:

  • 3,131 photos were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons
  • 13 articles were created
  • 22 articles were improved
  • 209 total edits
  • 17.3K words added to es.wiki

Wiki Expedición (Desierto de los Leones)[edit]

33 students were involved in this project at Campus Santa Fe, led by Alvaroez According to the new Education Dashboard,[2]:

  • 482 photos were uploaded to Wikimedia Commons
  • 1 article edited (?)
  • 59 edits
  • 7.87K words added

Wiki Literature (Gothic edition)[edit]

33 students were involved in this project, led by TONYchainsaw and Marisol Arteaga According to the new Education Dashboard [3]:

  • 60 articles created
  • 71 articles improved
  • 332 edits
  • 58.2K words added to es.wiki

Servicio social[edit]

Spanish Wikipedia[edit]

  • 25 students enrolled for the semester
  • 80 articles created or significantly improved in Spanish Wikipedia, 10 of these are created from scratch, the rest translated from English
  • 217 articles edited/reviewed
  • 2.23K total edits
  • 873K words added

Wikimedia Commons[edit]

  • 1272 files added

198 of these files are not photographs. They include:

51 files of a native Totonac speaker pronouncing common words in her language
134 files of a native Nahuatl speaker pronouncing place names and other words in his language
7 files demonstrating sounds made by a synthesizer
6 files demonstrating various ways to tune a kalimba
