- Sinds de zomer van 2013 vormt een groep van voormalige Wikipediasprekers van Wikimedia Deutschland's voormalige "Wikipedia macht Schule" programma het onafhankelijke "wiki:team" netwerk om programma's die gericht zijn op docenten en studenten op middelbaar niveau aan te bieden. In plaats van zich te richten op redactionele vaardigheden en bijdragen aan de Wikimedia-projecten, is het doel van het wiki:team om de kennis van hoe Wikipedia werkt te verspreiden om zowel studenten en docenten in staat te stellen de encyclopedie verantwoord en kritisch te gebruiken. - Since the summer of 2013, a group of former Wikipedian speakers of Wikimedia Deutschland's discontinued program Wikipedia macht Schule formed the independent wiki:team network to provide programs targeted at teachers and students at the (junior) high school level. Rather then focusing on editing skills and contributions to the Wikimedia projects, the goal of wiki:team is to spread the knowledge of how Wikipedia works in order to enable both students and teachers to use the encyclopedia responsibly and critically. - From 2010 until early 2013, Wikimedia Deutschland ran Wikipedia macht Schule, a program for students (junior high school and high school) as well as teachers. When the program was discontinued, many of the involved speakers subsequently formed the wiki:team to continue the effort idependently. For more information, see this page.
