Four new Wikipedians in Residence, and Food!

This month four new Wikipedians in Residence are begininng to work in collaboration with Italian museums!
The museums, carefully selected from ICOM Italia and Museimpresa museums respondents to a Wikimedia Italia announcement, are Museo nazionale della scienza e della tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci and Fondazione Mansutti collections, both in Milan, MUSE Museo della scienza in Trento, and Museo Galileo in Florence.
This is the result of a special effort aimed to boost wiki projects inside Italian museums, that have not been involved in a massive way so far. Wikimedia Italia is for this reason directly funding four brief collaborations (the Wikipedians are going to work only for two months with the museums) with cultural institutions selected both because of the value and richness of their collections, and the diversity of their collections and activities.
First images by Food Museums
The images donated by Parma Food Museums are being uploaded to Commons in these days. They will be very useful to illustrate articles about the history of Italian food and typical agribusiness products such as Parmigiano Reggiano (Parmesan cheese), and Prosciutto di Parma (simply the Prosciutto in the English article!).
