Quick questions![edit]

Hi @Ashoka KG, Durga bhat bollurodi, Ananth subray:, Just wanted to first say thank you for submitting a complete and detailed application! I have a few questions I'd like to bring to your attention: - What do you mean by “leadership training workshop”? Is it an opportunity to grow as a leader in the Wikimedia community connected to academic leadership for the students who will participate in the project? - I see that your goals are connected to encouraging the participation of women in the movement, does this mean that the activities you describe will be conducted with female-only audiences? - You mention that developing digital literacy, critical thinking and problem solving skills are important benefits of using the Wikimedia platforms in education. How do you plan to measure the impact of your project in the development of digital skills in the students involved? I think this would be a really good point to add to your indicators of success!

Additionally, I think it would be great if you could specify which languages you will be focusing on when you create/improve articles on Wikipedia and when you proofread Wikisource entries. Thank you and again kudos for a great submission! Best, --MGuadalupe (WMF) (talk) 01:27, 17 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Thank you for applying to WPE Green House, I read all your application and looking forward to your great work!

As I did understand from your application, you are going to improve the women content on Wikipedia with the help of college students, it's a very good goal becuace women content needs to be improved in the encyclopedia, Are you going to involve both males and females students? Will you be preferring females over males?

Are you going to enrich Indic language only?

It's great to involve visitors and encourage them to ask question so that they could know more about Wikimedia Foundation and its projects, This is good for Wikimedia goals, I really liked this part from your aims.

As I noticed that there is no limits for the number of edit-a-thon workshops, since they are so important to rate students, it would be great to set limits.

For offline training, it is great to involve schools and universities, Do you think that it would be easy to find schools, universities, and people who may give an interest to your project?

It's great that you are working in founding a sustained WPE.

You can use the Pet scan tool here to find articles that need to be improved in a specific category in your language.

With luck. --Mohammad Hijjawi (talk) 19:49, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
