Cultural Partnerships coordinator for Germany
WMDE Job Offer: Coordinator for Cultural Partnerships
On February 7th 2012, WMDE announced a job offer for a Coordinator for Cultural Partnerships. The idea behind this position is similar to the US cultural partnerships coordinator. While Germany features only few GLAM cooperations so far, a basic infrastructure between WMDE, the community and our GLAM partners needs to be established. Supporting the existing and nascent GLAM:Wiki partnerships will help to introduce the Wikimedian in Residence model in Germany as well.
The coordinator for cultural partnerships in Germany will be located at WMDE in Berlin and is expected to create a framework for a community-driven GLAM sector that allows volunteers to act freely and provide support if required. It should be noted that at the time of publication of the GLAM Newsletter, applications are closed.
Currently, there is no public information on the number of applications or an eventual acceptance.
