GLAM digital with the Museum Association of Southern Lower Saxony - "Wiki Loves Museumskette Südniedersachsen"
Get to know the Southern Lower Saxony Museum Chain and exchange ideas for further cooperation
One of the strengths of de.wikipedia is that articles on individual museums, such as the Museum Schloss Fürstenberg and the Borderland Museum Eichsfeld or the Fagus Factory, are well developed thanks to all the authors. At the same time, we all realise that Wikipedia will never be complete. The GLAM-digital event in February 2024 offered the opportunity to get to know the individual museums better during a virtual exchange with the Landschaftsverband Südniedersachsen and representatives of the museums in the Southern Lower Saxony Museum Chain.
The event also provided the opportunity to get some inspiration for the content and editing of thematic Wikipedia articles. In a discussion with representatives of the museums in the Southern Lower Saxony Museum Chain, we were able to take a closer look at the individual museums in the network and exchange ideas.
