WikiMuseum ; A new GLAM in northern France
Since one month, and for the next few month coming, everybody can submit photos of the museum Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille online... and share them with millions of people!
This museum associates itself with Wikimedia France and the most famous encyclopedia to launch the first collection of photos online about the history of the museum and invite the other museums of France to do the same.
Inaugurated in 1892, this museum is one of the most important museums in France. It houses collections retracing the history of European art, from antiquity to modern art. With its temporary exhibitions and events, it has also become a key venue of cultural life in Lille, capital of the new big regional Council Région Hauts-de-France.

Two classes of university students (master I and II) are involved in the process. And a wikibook was created on this occasion to tell the history of the museum and how this museum is lived by those who visit it or working (in construction).
