deGrowth in N0vember
Though November is one of the the least favored months to report (more work to finish, less daylight and energy to spare), for us it is first reporting in 2024. Against odds and with some improvising we produced an exhibition and program #deGrowthFORMS in Zagreb ULUPUH Gallery and online. It is complexity of the DeGrowth topic and its interpretations in media, technologies, haritage institutions and social/knowledge activism that kept us busy in the program. It featured Wikimedia and MediaWiki presentation to students of media-design, workshop with library-information science researcher on libraries and civil society, as well as experimental work on getting ULUPUH members to use MediaWiki for project documenting and Commons for documenting. We demonstrated MediaWiki farm using our project instance https://MMiIM.MiraHeze.org We hope to follow up this work with collaborations on podcast and print publication in 2025 both with students, academia and art professionals.
