- WikiProject India is now up and running
- Several new catalogues in Mix'n'Match incl. Encyclopædia Britannica, National Gallery artists and ArtCyclopedia
- Andy Mabbett taught Wikidata editing, querying and third party tools, to United Kingdom Parliamentary librarians and data staff, during two day-long sessions
- Asaf Bartov taught Wikidata editting querying in tour of India from 30 August to 19 September 2017 in the following cities - Cochin, Mangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata & Pune.

- Added a css class to values that link to redirects so they can more easily be identified by editors who want that for maintenance work (phabricator:T70567)
