This Month in GLAM in the UK[edit]

Hello Pigsonthewing, Viewing the contents page of the newsletter this month in GLAM I notice there is no UK section yet. I thought you are from that area and maybe you can write this time as well about the GLAM related things happening in the UK in the past month (or perhaps know who will). I hope the UK can be written about too. Thanks! Greetings - Romaine (talk) 16:33, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

PS: It would be nice if you are interested to mention your name here (for the UK) if you are willing to write some editions in the future as well. Romaine (talk) 16:33, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: first time that a Wiki[p|m]edian in Residence has worked with Wikiquote?[edit]

Sorry, you're several months late for the record. :P --Nemo 13:07, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

GLAM Newsletter Question[edit]

Hi Andy - I am looking to contribute an article/update to the GLAM Newsletter. Sandra recommended I add my contribution under the Wikidata section since my update is all about Wiki Education's new Wikidata program. When I go to "contribute" the link leads me back to the general GLAM Newsletter information page. Would you be able to recommend how I should proceed? You can see my draft here if it's easier for you to copy and paste it somewhere. I realize it's short notice, but we're hoping we can include it in this month's newsletter. Thanks! I've added it to the newsletter as a "Special Story", with pointers to it from both the Wikidata report and the USA report. That should bring more eyeballs to it. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy 17:38, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Special story about Wikidata-Commons[edit]

Hi Andy, You might want to link the upcoming Wikidata report to this special story: GLAM/Newsletter/May 2020/Contents/Special story. Greetings - Romaine (talk) 18:48, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
