Hola, Roxana. :)

Welcome to Outreach Wiki!

Thank you so much for contributing an article to the education newsletter.

Your work sounds fascinating.

Is there a page onwiki about Proyecto Wikipedia en la Educación that we can link to?

Gracias, Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 15:14, 11 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

P.S. You probably already know this, but in case not, if you have not already done so, you might wish to enable email notifications when your talk page and other pages that you watch here on outreach wiki are commented on or updated. Just go to your preferences and on the user profile tab, check the box at the bottom that says: "Email me when a page or file on my watchlist is changed." Hope this helps. :) Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 15:49, 11 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Translator Barnstar

[edit]

Thank you for translating. Gracias por la traducción. :)

Dear Roxyuru,

Thank you for helping to translate the Welcome to Wikipedia booklet on the Outreach wiki Bookshelf project: Bienvenidos a Wikipedia(estante)/2013 edición/texto. According to the page information, out of the 18 languages that have translations started, besides English, only 2 language communities have translations that are 100% complete: Swedish and Spanish. And out of the 9 contributors to the Spanish translation, more than one third of the edits were made by you, and all were within the last 30 days! I hope that community norms permit me to award you a barnstar because you've earned it! So, please accept The Rosetta Barnstar: Wikiestrella de Rosetta as a token of my appreciation and gratitude for your contributions as a translator and your dedication to Wikipedia in Education. You have helped Spanish-speaking educators and learners around the world!

Sincerely, Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 01:43, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much, Anna Koval (WMF)! I gladly accept the Rosetta Barnstar. All the best, --Roxyuru (talk) 02:14, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Printing Booklets Locally

[edit]

Dear Roxyuru,

Since the Editing Wikipedia booklet has now been fully translated into Spanish, I just wanted to let you know that if your community wanted to print it locally, Wikimedia Taiwain wrote a Project and Event Grant proposal to do exactly that, and it was funded by the Wikimedia Foundation's Grantmaking team. For more information, please see Meta:Grants:PEG/WM TW/Editing Wikipedia Chinese Edition Print Out. And if you have any questions, please ping Alexandra Wang (WMF). Thanks again for all your hard work! :)

Sincerely, Anna Koval (WMF) (talk) 16:50, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much, Anna Koval (WMF)! That would be great! :) --Roxyuru (talk) 18:56, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your hard work!!

[edit]

Hi Roxana,

Thanks for your hard work on translating the editing Wikipedia brochure to Spanish. You are the first Collab member to finish a task since we started the Education Collaborative improvements early this summer. I'm sending to share my feeling of gratitude to you and to tell you how happy I am with your dedication to the Wikipedia Education Collaborative. In different ages, there were used to give a translator the weight of a book they translate in gold. Let me take this opportunity to send you the golden mask of Tutankhamun as a token of my appreciation. --Selsharbaty (WMF) (talk) 08:55, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi Selsharbaty (WMF)! Thank you very much for your kind words and for the golden mask of Tutankhamun. I just love it! I´ll keep on working. All the best, --Roxyuru (talk) 15:03, 26 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
