Edit-a-thon about Contemporary artists
Last 23 May 2015 an edit-a-thon about contemporary artists was held at the Museo Patio Herreriano de Arte Contemporáneo Español of Valladolid. This event was organized by Culturatorium, with the collaboration of Museo Patio Herreriano and Wikimedia España. The purpose of this activity was to approach the contemporary art to society, and to make more visible those artists. The articles proposed to be edited were selected by Marta Álvarez, art historian, philosopher and cultural manager. 20 people participated, both on-line or at the museum, in the event, with almost 40 articles edited and 100 kb of information added. You can also help them improving the articles listed and selected.
Edit-a-thon about French St. James's Way in Aragon
Last 15 May 2015 there was an edit-a-thon about French St. James's Way in Aragon at Palacio de Congresos de Jaca. This event was organized by the Asociación de Amigos del Camino de Santiago de Jaca and Wikimedia España, with the support of Jaca City Council and the Museo Diocesano de Jaca. The purpose of this activity was to approach the French St. James's Way in Aragon to society and improve the articles related to it on Wikipedia. 15 people participated, both on-line or in person, in the event, with 20 articles edited and more than 60 kb of information added. You can also help them improving the articles listed and selected.
Grant for a GLAM project with National Museum of Sculpture
On May, Wikimedia Spain applied for a grant to start a GLAM project with the National Museum of Sculture of Spain, localted in Valladolid.
Talk and workshop at Recida Seminar
On 7 May 2015 there were a talk and a workshop about Wikipedia and Wiki Loves Earth at Recida Seminar (Centros de Documentación Ambiental y Espacios Naturales Protegidos) in Valsaín (Segovia).
