Cooperation with Central Bank of Armenia

The Central Bank of Armenia has launched in May a campaign, called "My financial month," designed specially to help citizens raise their awareness of how to manage their personal finances. The part of this campaign was a cooperation with Wikimedia Armenia.

Eight participants from different towns of Armenia created and improved 10 articles dedicated to financial issues in Armenian Wikipedia. All participants at first took part in the workshop in the Wikimedia Armenia office. They learned editing skills on Wikipedia. They learned how created articles from scratch, how will find and use no "copy-paste" and public open-source materials for their articles․ All articles after creation in sandboxes of user pages were checked and edited by Wikimedia Armenia employees.

As a result, together Wikimedia Armenia with the Central Bank, an agreement was reached on the continuation of the project: to create and improve financial articles from the list of 1000 most important articles․
