Wikipedia Birthday in Tirana

On the occasion of the 22nd Wikipedia Birthday in Tirana, Albania, WoALUG organized an event as a birthday gift to Wikipedia. New and experienced contributors participated in talking about the history, development, and awareness of why we edit Wikipedia.

The event started with a short presentation inviting people to look at the main important milestones of free knowledge and Wikipedia and compare the English and Albanian versions of Wikipedia.

In this event, we also helped the new contributors edit an article on Wikipedia, so they could practice editing independently and work towards being a Wikipedian.

The statistics from this event are:
