Opening old books at Maastricht University

In January 2023, Maastricht University students from the Maastricht Science Programme took part in an accelerated course, Opening Up Old Books, wherein they selected two historical books on botany from the University Special Collections about which to write and publish Wikipedia articles.

Two books have been fully digitalised by the university library and uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. The students wrote about each book an article in Wikipedia.
