GLAM stepping into 2023
At the beginning of the year all our efforts were still put into reviewing the previous year and planning 2023. A new initiative that we have already stared this year is online meet up addressed to Wikimedians-in-residence.
The aim of the meetings is to create a space for sharing knowledge and experience, and also to develop the new standards of GLAM partnerships. We are going to meet together every month to work on the issues that are essential in cooperation with GLAM institutions. The first meet up was dedicated to metrics and the ways we can measure the results of GLAM partnerships.

New “did you know” articles on the collection of Wawel Royal Castle were published in January. The articles on the unique artifacts from the Crown Treasury reached over 4k viewers. It is a great example of a high-quality content that is delivered by a museum professional who was trained in editing Wikipedia.
