Wiki Loves Living Heritage Bazaar at GLAM Wiki 2023The Bazaar on the last day of GLAM Wiki 2023 is an event to share and hear experiences about working with living heritage, and to make new contacts. The format of the 1-hour session is flexible and depends on the participants. We will be gathering sharers throughout the conference days on location in Montevideo, and we encourage you to sign up as well. Follow the project page on Meta. | |
Stretching MetaWiki Loves Living Heritage uses Meta-wiki in ways it was not designed to work. It hosts a campaign, blog, event calendar and showcase, content lists, wikiproject, material collection, learning materials, tasks, teams, content creation, contacts, documentation, design templates, metrics and maybe more. Bring your data to Wiki Loves Living Heritage at WikidataConA prerecorded video was presented at WikidataCon on the topic of importing data about living heritage to Wikidata. The recording is subtitled in English and Chinese and available on YouTube. This event will be followed by a presentation about data modeling for living heritage in a session about modeling for cultural heritage. It is scheduled to be held on 2 December at 11 UTC at Wikidata Data Modeling Days. | |
Wiki Loves Safeguarding Living Heritage in Europe winners announcedThe European photo contest related to the campaign resulted in 1700 photos in Wikimedia Commons focusing on the various forms of safeguarding living heritage. The winners of the contest come from Austria, Germany and Finland. The contest was organized by the European Network of Focal Points for the 2003 Convention (ENFP).
